All door handles now fitted, both upstairs and downstairs. I arrived on site on Tuesday and found the joiner fitting the window sills - to my horror they were white, and not oak veneer as we had expected. I had to rush home to check orginal specifications to see if I had specified oak to the builder, thankfully I had and the right ones should arrive Monday!
Painting teams worked well this weekend and thank goodness the end is now in sight. Just need a second coat on the landing, a bit of edging and that will only leave our bedroom to do (it has been undercoated).
Fingers crossed if all goes well we hope to move in during first week of June.
